My passions include photography, hermeneutics, neuroscience, nature, philosophy, religion and music.
Photography is fabulous because it allows me to meet new people and engage them on the streets of Vancouver.
BTW: I'm a proud Sony, Contax & Minolta shooter.
My main cameras are a Sony A7RII, Sony RX1R, Sony A99, Sony RX10M2, Contax G2, Bronica SQ and iPhone SE! The lenses that are most often on the cameras include:
Leica Summarits: 35mm f2.5; 50mm f2.5; and 75mm f2.5
Contax 45mm f2 or Contax 21mm f2.8
Sony Zeiss 50mm f1.4; Sigma ART 35mm f1.4; Sony Zeiss 24-70mm f2.8; Sony Zeiss 16-35mm f2.8; or the Zeiss Touit 32mm
When shooting video I use a Rode Video Mic and a Zoom H6 for enhanced sound capture. I also have a pair of MiC's by Apogee.
Keep it real... keep taking risks... wake up if you're only taking SAFE SHOTS and start over again... and keep your heart 'alive' in the midst of difficult times.

Perplexing sunny day in Vancouver

So today I had a great time with a longtime friend... we walked around and talked while I took pictures... the light was fab... and the conversation was refreshingly free and honest.
The only perplexing thing was that my Sony lens seemed to want to act strange today... it is the model 18200 and is 18mm-200mm. When I was with Kalina the other night snapping shots it performed brilliantly. Today I got home and I have to say I was suprised at the slight softness in many of the images.
Still it was an astounding day. No headaches either (and I get many of those usually).
One other thing: I am so proud to be a Sony user! Everything works great
